Certified ceramic coating at your home or office.

Ceramic Coating in Lake Mary, FL

Built for Florida Paint

Florida is hard on paint. Between the sun, lovebug season, pollen and the afternoon storms, a car in Lake Mary takes a beating even when it lives in a garage. A ceramic coating gives your paint a hard, glossy layer of protection that makes all of that a lot easier to live with. And because I’m fully mobile, I do the whole job at your home or office.

Why Coat a Car in Lake Mary

Sun. Florida UV fades and oxidizes clear coat over time. A coating takes that hit instead of your paint.

Lovebugs and sap. Bug guts and tree sap are acidic and can etch paint if they sit. On a coated car they wipe off easier and buy you more time.

Water spots. Sprinklers and hard water leave spots that bake in. Coated paint sheds water instead of holding it.

Easier washes. Dirt doesn’t stick the same way, so the car stays cleaner and washes up faster.

That deep gloss. Coated paint just looks wetter and richer, and it stays that way.

How I Do It

Prep and Paint Correction

1. Wash and decontaminate. A careful hand wash, then iron and tar removal and a clay treatment so the paint is truly clean.

2. Correct the paint. The coating locks in whatever is underneath it, so I polish out swirls, light scratches and haze first. This is the step that makes the result.

Coating and Cure

3. Apply the coating. Panel by panel, by hand, with wheels and glass available too.

4. Let it cure. The coating needs about a day to cure. I’ll walk you through exactly what to do (and not do) in the first couple of weeks.

A full correction and coating is a full day of work, so I’ll schedule it with you around the weather and where the car will be parked.

Reported to CARFAX. Every service I do is reported to your vehicle’s CARFAX history, including ceramic coatings and paint correction. When you sell or trade in, the next owner can see the car was professionally cared for.

Coating Options

I offer coatings rated for 1, 2, 3 and 5 years, plus a Paint Enhancement package that pairs a one step polish with a 1 year coating for cars that just need a refresh. I’ll look at your paint in person and tell you honestly which option makes sense for how you drive and how long you plan to keep the car.

Keep it looking new. A coating lasts longest when it’s maintained. My monthly and bi weekly maintenance plans keep your coating clean and performing, and keep your car looking like the day it was coated.

Ceramic Coating Myths, Straight Answers

“A coating makes my car scratch proof.” It doesn’t. A coating adds hardness and slickness that help resist light wash marks, but it won’t stop rock chips, door dings or deep scratches.

“Once it’s coated, I never have to wash it.” Coated cars still get dirty. The difference is that dirt comes off faster and easier, and water beads off instead of drying into spots. Safe, regular washing is what keeps a coating working.

“Ceramic coating is just an expensive wax.” Wax sits on top of the paint and wears off in weeks. A coating bonds to the clear coat and lasts for years, depending on the coating and how the car is maintained.

“A coating will hide my swirls.” A coating locks in whatever is under it. If the paint has swirls, they get sealed in. That’s why every coating starts with decontamination and, when it’s needed, a polish.

“Coatings are only for new or expensive cars.” Any car with healthy paint benefits. Daily drivers dealing with Florida sun, rain and love bug season often benefit the most.

“My car is too old to coat.” If the clear coat is in good shape, it can be coated. The paint just needs proper prep first, and that’s part of every coating I do.

Common Questions

How long does a ceramic coating last?
It depends on the coating you choose and how it’s maintained. My options run from 1 year up to 5 years.

Do I need paint correction first?
Almost always, at least a light polish. Coating over swirls just seals them in. I’ll look at your paint and tell you how much correction it really needs.

Can you do it in my driveway?
Yes, that’s how I work. A garage or covered spot is ideal so the coating can cure out of the rain. If you don’t have one, I’ll plan the day around the weather.

Will a coating stop rock chips and scratches?
No coating is armor. It resists light marring and makes the paint easier to care for, but it won’t stop rock chips or deep scratches.

Will my coating show up on CARFAX?
Yes. I report every service to CARFAX, so your coating and correction work show up on the vehicle history report. It’s proof of care that helps when you sell or trade in.
