Most coating shops need your car for a day or two. I do it the other way around. I bring the whole process to your home or office in north Orlando or anywhere in Seminole County, from the wash and paint correction to the coating itself, so you never have to drop the car off and find a ride. It’s certified ceramic coating work, done where the car already lives.
What a Coating Does for You
Stays cleaner. Dirt and road film don’t bond the same way, so the car looks better between washes.
Washes faster. Water beads and sheets off, so washing is quicker and easier on the paint.
Holds its color. A coating takes the UV that would otherwise fade and oxidize your clear coat.
Buys you time. Bird droppings, bugs and sap are acidic. On a coated car you have more time to get them off before they etch.
Looks the part. Coated paint has a deep, wet look that lasts.
How I Do It
Getting the Paint Ready
1. Decontaminate. A hand wash, iron and tar removal and a clay treatment, so nothing is left bonded to the paint.
2. Correct first. A coating seals in whatever is under it, so I polish out swirls and haze before anything goes on. Then a panel prep wipe leaves the surface bare and clean so the coating bonds properly.
Applying the Coating
3. By hand, panel by panel. Even coverage across the paint, with wheels and glass available too.
4. Cure and care. The coating needs about a day to cure. I’ll tell you exactly how to wash and care for it so it lasts.
A correction and coating is a full day of work, so I’ll plan it with you around the weather and where the car can stay covered.
Reported to CARFAX. Every service I do is reported to your vehicle’s CARFAX history, including ceramic coatings and paint correction. When you sell or trade in, the next owner can see the car was professionally cared for.
Picking a Coating
I offer ceramic coatings rated for 1, 2, 3 and 5 years. The right one depends on how long you’re keeping the car, how it’s driven and where it’s parked. For a car that mostly needs a refresh, my Paint Enhancement package pairs a one step polish with a 1 year coating. I’ll look at the paint in person and give you an honest recommendation.
Maintenance matters. A coating isn’t a force field. It lasts longest with safe, regular washes, which is exactly what my maintenance memberships are for.
Ceramic Coating Myths, Straight Answers
“A coating makes my car scratch proof.” It doesn’t. A coating adds hardness and slickness that help resist light wash marks, but it won’t stop rock chips, door dings or deep scratches.
“Once it’s coated, I never have to wash it.” Coated cars still get dirty. The difference is that dirt comes off faster and easier, and water beads off instead of drying into spots. Safe, regular washing is what keeps a coating working.
“Ceramic coating is just an expensive wax.” Wax sits on top of the paint and wears off in weeks. A coating bonds to the clear coat and lasts for years, depending on the coating and how the car is maintained.
“A coating will hide my swirls.” A coating locks in whatever is under it. If the paint has swirls, they get sealed in. That’s why every coating starts with decontamination and, when it’s needed, a polish.
“Coatings are only for new or expensive cars.” Any car with healthy paint benefits. Daily drivers dealing with Florida sun, rain and love bug season often benefit the most.
“My car is too old to coat.” If the clear coat is in good shape, it can be coated. The paint just needs proper prep first, and that’s part of every coating I do.

Do I have to bring my car anywhere?
No. I come to you. A garage or covered spot is best while the coating cures, but if you don’t have one, I’ll plan the day around the weather.
How long does a coating last?
My coatings are rated for 1, 2, 3 or 5 years, depending on the coating you choose and how it’s cared for.
Will it stop rock chips?
No coating stops rock chips or deep scratches. What it does is resist light marring, block UV and make the car much easier to keep clean.
My car is brand new. Does it still need polishing?
Usually at least a light polish. New cars can pick up marks before they ever reach you. I’ll check the paint before we decide anything.
Which parts of Orlando do you cover?
North Orlando and all of Seminole County. If you’re a little farther out, reach out and I’ll tell you honestly whether I can make it work.
Is a ceramic coating worth it in Florida?
For a car that sits in the sun and deals with lovebugs, pollen and sprinkler water, it’s one of the best things you can do for the paint. It blocks UV, gives you more time to get bugs and droppings off, and makes washing much easier.
Will my coating show up on CARFAX?
Yes. I report every service to CARFAX, so your coating and correction work show up on the vehicle history report. It’s proof of care that helps when you sell or trade in.
